Research Fellow at the Department of Social and Political Sciences and responsible for the undergraduate course Nonprofits & Philanthropy. She is responsible for the Nonprofit Management & Philanthropy area at the Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management at Bocconi University. She holds the MSc degree in Public Management from Bocconi University and the PhD in Global Health and Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), with a thesis on global philanthropy for health and development.

Her research interests include philanthropy and giving, non-profit organization management, social impact, social innovation and all fields where private creativity meets the public good.

She is member of the European Research Network on Philanthropy (ERNOP) and the International Association of Third Sector Research (ISTR). She has been awarded with the Italian Research on Philanthropy Awards (IRPAs) in 2014 and 2017.
